Home Improvements... Bathroom edition...
So this weekend it was the bathrooms turn for a little flooring attention.
As mushmouse74 has posted, her and C went over to Davis farmland and had a grand time and I set out to work on the upstairs bathroom, and since I was putting new flooring down, I started by removing the toilet. That turned out to be an experience in itself, as it wasn't together correctly and unleashed a flood on my floor. I'd have to say I have little respect for the builder and anyone ever associated in a professional manor with the condo complex. I realize that turning a profit is important to a business, but the things I have found over the last year have ranged from downright dangerous to plain stupid. 2 more nuts and 4 more washers that ship with the freaking toilet are not going to break the bank.
I clean that up and find that the flange is horribly surface rusted, but still solid, but for my own sanity I put a pair of spanners on it and finished that section of floor. I have got the rest of the bathroom to finish, but that shouldn't take too long tonight as long as Tigger and Pooh perform their duties. I hate doing that, but I've gotta get this finished.
