As I was lamenting last week about the drive to PantherVale / Mountain Freehold and the A&S event, I am so glad that I didn't talk myself and
mushmouse74 out of going. It was a great event, much better than I expected.
The morning A&S Classes were not well attended from what I have heard, though I can say that the classes I took were popular. The glass painting class started about 55 min late and ran into the next time slot with the permission of the instructor that was to follow.
The afternoon intro to cloisonné taught by Baintighearna Ruadhnait inghean Ruaidhri was the highlight of the day for me. I have played with casting pieces for champlevé but have not done any cloisonné so I had a good idea how the enamel fired, but needed some pointers to get me going. It was worth the drive, but maybe not the hit the wallet is going to take for this.
