Today was a really long, but good day in the studio.
I had a wax model that I bought in bulk for casting practice, last night I did the investment and today I was able to burnout and cast the ring with my centrifugal casting machine.
Everything went as hoped and planned for, I know a few things to change for the next time, but there isn't much I'd do different.
Pictures coming after I pickle and clean up the casting, maybe tomorrow.
mushmouse74 is reading over my shoulder and said that I should note just how little clean up the casting actually needs. It's pretty well oxidized, and there were a few bubbles in the investment.
