Gateway (and Acer) Suck, Part IV
Lest you've forgotten, the piece-of-crap Gateway high-end machine we bought never worked, an out-of-the-box loser. After returning it twice and waiting a MONTH the second time, we've filed reports with the Better Business Bureau and with Gateway.
Today Gateway called. They STILL haven't/can't fix the computer that has NEVER worked, and claim that a new mother board won't reach them for another week.
They offered to send a refurbished computer instead.
So let's get this straight, less YOU buy a Gateway or Acer: They sell you a computer that they ADMIT is faulty and that doesn't even boot up. But they won't replace it with a new computer. Imagine buying a new car that doesn't work and VW or Toyota offering you a USED car to replace it!
Let us agree, Acer/Gateway SUCKS. DO NOT BUY Gateway. Please spread the word.
