This is an experiment- let's say this is a PUBLIC BETA or something of that description. Basically, I've designed a chessboard and all the pieces, and made it so you can print it out, assemble it and play it RIGHT NOW! Once chess was the sport of kings, limited to the landed gentry and the bourgeoisie, but I have made it so the game is available to anyone with paper, pritt-stick, scissors and sellotape. And a printer, access to the internet, and a small degree of computer literacy. Strike one for democracy!
The sheets you need to print are behind the cut: I tried to keep the amount of paper you'll need to print to a minimum, but the whole set ended up being six sheets of paper: four sheets of pieces and two sheets for the board. I guess this might seem like a lot of stuff to assemble but hey, free chess set

Let me know what works and what doesn't, what you would change etc. Also, if you make the set, take pictures! All feedback is much appreciated
