[The recording starts with John, still shirtless, staring down blearily at the journal. His back aches and he has no idea where his clothes went. Oddly enough, where he's currently located is... rather odd. From what can be seen behind him, the flora looks more appropriate for a jungle. He starts talking, but not really to the brook.]

Another military guy, huh? Seems there's quite a few of us here. What branch?

Not military. Civilian. I'm with the IASA. Astronaut.

Astronaut, huh? What year are you from? Still going to the moon or moved things up a notch yet?

Two thousand-one. I was on lead with the Farscape project. Long story short, one wormhole later and I've been spending the last three years on the ass end of the universe.

Wormholes... yeah, that'll do it. Gotta be careful with those if you don't know how to get around 'em.

Never heard of the Farscape project... and I probably should have, if it did something like that. It's possible it was kept secret, but not much gets past Torchwood. Though, you could also be from a different version of Earth. I've seen that here too.
