There is no grass to be had. It's a sad time of year for me and my field mate. My birthday is passed, and I only got a pack of Jaffa Cakes. Later, when all the biscuits were eaten, my owner came by with a big metal model of a horse's head, and showed it to me and started to pat me and tell em I was great. Then she showed me another one of those red ribbony things. I am beginning to notice that this ribbons have a strange effect on humans - they are utterly delighted when they come back to the horse box with one, and the red ones make them happiest.

I'm in my stable tonight, making me think there must be something big tomorrow. I'm hoping it's another one of those days where they take me places and in reward for being nice and responsive when they trot me around the arena in front of the person in the car, they let me do some jumps. Then when I go fast on the cross country, people shout at me about how great I am and my owner cries "Good Harvey!" in my ear when I do an extra big jump. I'm such a great horse, really, amn't I?
