I finished up that story I was working on, and if anyone wants to see it just earn my trust and ask me. I decided not to start on my next story idea, which is a comdey involving Pennsylvania Mountain Hicks, and instead take a shot at the comic idea. I drew up a two frame comic with little effort on the humor side just to see if I would like the way I drew my characters. I like them but they don't bear as much resemblance to their real-life counter parts as I would have liked. I was only worried about whether they looked good enough, though, and I think they do... so the comic will be a go. I have no clue how often I'd draw more, but I've got a few good ideas already. If for any reason you want to see the shcematic I did come up with, just ask.
I've noticed some subtle changes in me recently. I can't really put my finger on anything, but in more time I'll probably see the difference... they seem to be changes for the better. From my limited vantage point it kind of seems to me like it's adultification of some sort.
Finals, finals, finals...
Lab final was today, feeling confident about that. It was only 15 points of our grade, each lab was 10 points and we did 12 of them, so it doesn't amount to much anyway. Our lab TA was a bit harsh with grading so I'm not sure what I've got in that class. Might be a B. If it is, I'm going to flip out and kill everyone because it would blemish a report card full of A's... and that would drive me over the edge of insanity.
No finals tomorrow, but Thursday...
Thursday is the programming 'final' which is really just a third final that happens to be the last one. Not cumulative. These last two chapters it's on are kind of crazy with the amount of content and the poor explanation. I need at least a B on it to have an A in the class. This is most probable.
Also thursday, the quiz on the material that the Astronomy exam is on. The Astronomy final is also not cumulative, and is on Friday. I have consistantly never gotten an answer wrong in that class. I'm not worried.
Monday, then, is the chem exam, which IS cumulative, and we're getting new material all the way up to and including friday. At least I've got the weekend to prepare. I'll need a low A at least to assure an A in that class. Shouldn't be a problem.
After monday, I wallow in agony as I wait for that friday to come, for I am stuck taking the bus home and it doesn't depart until friday afternoon. Next year I will have my car, because that's crap. On the bright side there isn't a single class that week so I'm free to sleep like there's no tomorrow.
