Where did you begin the year 2007?: attached to dave, upset about quitting school and having finished the worst semester of my life, wasting away making lattes and hating my living situation.
What was your status by Valentines Day?: still in a relationship, but i won't lie, it was starting to get a little shaky.
Were you in school anytime this year?: i started again in the fall at a different school (ACAD).
Did you have to go to the hospital?: only to see shelene's new baby at four hours old!
Did you have any encounters with the police?: only to serve them coffee or at staff parties (one of the owners of the place i work at now is a cop, haha).
Where did you go for vacation?: home, because that's all i can ever seem to afford. and there's beaches there, and my mommy.
What did you purchase that was over 100 dollars?: macbook, canon 30d.
Did you know anybody who got married?: this girl melissa i used to hang out with, selena from back in the uofc days, a girl i graduated with named sam.
Anybody who passed away?: nobody i was super close to, thankfully.
Attend any sporting events?: nope.
What concerts or shows did you go to?: broken social scene, sled island music festival, calgary folk music festival, and i believe arlo guthrie was in 2007 as well.
Describe your birthday:: surprise road trip to banff hot springs, romantic dinner, back to the boyfriend's place.
You favorite moment(s)?: moving out of a mouldy basement suite, quitting starbucks and getting a job at a cupcake shop, finally moving on from being depressed and mopey about david, meeting some awesome girls at crave, starting school at ACAD, holding tanner rasmussen at four hours old, such a cutie.
New additions to your family?: nope, not to mine.
What was your best month?: probably december, because it was the last month of a really awful year.
Made any new friends?: yes, quite a few!
Favorite night out?: haha, sunday is industry night and i don't work the next day.
Other than home, where did you spend most of you time? at work, at dave's apartment, at school.
Changed your hairstyle?: i went from super blonde to brunette.
How old did you turn this year?: 22.
Do you have a New Year's Resolution?: haha, no buns in any ovens.
Have you had any regrets?: i really try not to.
Done anything embarrassing?: have you MET me?
Gotten married/divorced?: nope.
Have you watched American Idol?: in the what is now becoming distant past, but right now i do not have tv.
Have you gotten sick?: oh yeah.
What's a song that best describes you during the beginning of the year?: the mast by feist, swan dive by ani difranco.
And by the end of the year?: tears dry on their own by amy winehouse.
If you could give your life to get anything back, what would it be?: a heart that isn't bitter.
