I've been writing stuff online using a bulleted format a lot, so I think I'll do that today with my oh-so-neglected livejournal.

-I'm going to University of Florida next year. Why? To be perfectly honest, when you get down to it, I'm switching just for shits and giggles. A little variety and a change in setting. You might even say I got bored at UNC.

-I have applied for internships and jobs at about 16 places over the past 2 and a half months, and called these places countless numbers of times, with no luck. Last year it took almost no effort to get a nice internship, and now that I actually have experience, it seems impossible. Is it the economy or what? I don't know. If this latest group of places I applied to doesn't work out, I'm opting for some sort of temp work like washing windows or digging holes. In a way, I'd prefer that.

-I don't know if I wrote about it before, but I got as drunk as I did at New Year's, with the results almost as disastrous, at a party on Sat night. Ryan Richardson and Patrick Godfrey came by, and when I was already drunk, I got super high with them too. It was the only time I've been mentally disturbed while inebriated. I kept seeing a strange face, like my current avatar (the userpic you see). My mind kept coming back to stuff about my life and I began to question it. Meanwhile, people at the party were marvelling at my reactions, which consisted of leaning against the wall to stop from wobbling and staring straight ahead while silent. It's what I imagine LSD and shrooms are like. Now I'm not in such a hurry to do either.

Oh, and then came the agonizing pain, vomiting until I had nothing but dry heaves, and screaming as though I was being murdered. Which I'm sure it felt like. Well, I've been fooled twice, so the joke's on me. No more hard liquor (weed, on the other hand, had NOTHING to do with this! :D )

-I bought a Mercedes-Benz, which I acquired for a mere $3000. It totally rules, despite a few (very minor) blemishes that 16 years will do to a car, no matter how well it's taken care of. It's now the coolest thing I own (sorry Mr. IBM laptop...you've served me well)
