Futatsu no Spica
Downloaded this drama mainly because it had Nakamura Yuichi in it, and ever since Kamen Rider Den-O I've been obsessed with Nakamura Yuichi. Anyways, it's pretty short (7 episodes), and about a group of kids who are training to become astronauts at a special academy. It seems like it'll be interesting, especially since -- given what previews I could find -- it seems to parallel this whole medical school thing that I'm still trying to get used to. :)
(And speaking of Den-O -- I think I must've rewatched half the series in between studying for my anatomy exam last week. Yuuto is still as pouty and as adorable as ever. ♥)
DNA Scarves
This is possibly the coolest knitting pattern I've ever seen. I don't care how much of a pain all that cabling is going to be -- I'm definitely making this at some point in the near future; possibly a Christmas present for someone. ♥
Writing
So, err, I wrote a fic about real people. Tennis players, in fact. *_* Now, I still try to treat my ficcing as writing exercises, and as such I actually thought it turned out really well. Nevertheless, real people, really? *headdesks*
(...and, if that wasn't enough, I've gone and started planning something else; which promises to be long, to require actual notes, and possibly a rewatching of Patrick O'Brian's Master and Commander. I've...no idea of what I'm getting into, do I? *headdesks some more* ^_^)
