Haru has a dilemma. One that only the citizens of City can solve, with all their knowledge and experience!
Point one: it was Haru's birthday three weeks ago. Is being in the City make you older? Is Haru sixteen now? Fifteen? How old - it's so confusing, all this time travel and time continuums things. Is time an arrow or a river? At least Haru can swim. Either way - either way...
Point two: all the cakes. So many cakes. Are they safe to eat, because Haru would really not mind celebrating Haru's Appreciation Day today as well as grabbing a belated birthday cake to share with everyone, but what if it's a curse? What if the cake gets stuck in Haru's throat, and Haru becomes a sleeping princess?
What prince would kiss Haru awake? (And maybe Haru doesn't necessarily want to become Snow White when there's an option of being a samurai - the cosplay isn't done, yet - but the cakes!)
Point three: those are really pretty dresses. Is this a curse? Haru thinks this City is a bit bipolar - one day, evil clones! The next day, cakes! Killer cakes? Hahi - Haru hopes not.
