~First Day of Work As A Teaching Assistant~ My 1st Job
In about half-an-hour's time, my 1st day of work will end. Let me re-cap on what I did today~~
From Temp. to Perm.
Initially, the centre offered me a temp. 3-mth contract ~ so when I was considering whether to try the shipping post introduced by Sweeny's agency...Well, I am a bit tempted actually (even now) coz in terms of career path, T.A. at an Edu. centre (which plan, design and organize projects when schools outsource English Lessons) seems to be less attractive to the shipping one...But then, when I was thinking how to take leave to go for interview when the agency calls, early this morning when I report for work, I was offered a PERM. contract (with 3 mths probation). Pay is still the same though. (My mum says that shipping is actually very routine work, but I know nuts about it.) Well, in the end, still sign the contract ~ see what can I achieve in 1 or 2 yrs time in this field (whether I can start handling projects), while I wanted to continue my Japanese to at least JLPT 2 so that IF I really cannot take this job, I have higher chances of employment thru' agencies ~

Yah~ and talking to my friend about the shipping job that the agency introduced me...=.=|||| But then, too bad, the agent too slow (or is me too impatient?) ~ contract signed. No need to go JP this year liao ~ No labour leave until 1/2 yr later...I WANT MY ENDLESS SHOCK AR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Work Today: Admin
Well~ work today is not difficult. For the morning, I was given 2 lesson plans (one for P1-P2; one for P3-P4) to look at and to get a rough idea on how THEIR lesson plans are written. I need to feedback on the activities and proof-read as well. Wonder if I can write sth like that or not ~ coz the guidelines are very very detail...scare scare~>.<~ Then, lunch with the staff + boss + a teacher (about 5 ppl only), dun think have similar things to talk leh ~ seems like no one likes J-pop or K-pop~ Sighs~ After lunch, boss brief me on how to format the agreements for the instructors and the agreements for the schools. The one for instructors is easier & less complicating. But my MS Word skills is very poooooooor, so I was very slow in creating those agreements assigned T_T~ 1st day alreadi OT~ and forgot to sign out~ DIE!!!!!
Found that I still have office-call phobia ~ VERY SCARE when the phone rings and dun wanna pick it ~ but too bad, today need to pick up liao coz ppl left early today~~~ >.< ~~~~ GOD! I can't remember all the names of the staff in the centre yet ~ (yah~ I am bad at remembering names too.)
In conclusion, I was very nervous lar~>.<~ Tomolo, (I mean today, clock juz striked 00:00) may need to start on lesson planning alreadi~ Know nuts about the HK Pri. & Sec. Eng. level leh...totally no idea about what will come next ~ school agreements have not done yet...(a lot of details forgot liao ~ die die die~)
Hope today can leave on 6pm so that I can rush home to watch TVXQ's interview on TVB!!! Pray HARD!!!!!!
