Anime Supercon
Well, I know this post is kinda late, but hey, conventions wear me out, lol. Saturday, My GF Amanda, George, Kez, and I went up to Anime Supercon in Ft. Lauderdale. It was pretty decent for a small convention. I saw a lot of my con-going buddies, and all of my Kohai from school showed up! It was great. I also got to see my Sempai, Natalie. I miss her so much. *Hug* <3 It was great seeing her!!
Amanda got me a Paopu Fruit (Kingdon Hearts) plushie. *Chu* <3 You're so sweet babe! Kez got me this awesome framed picture of Link (Zelda). That made me very happy. Angel ended up going the day before and came up Saturday as well to give me my late B-Day present: A replica RPD STARS (Resident Evil) airsoft gun. He re-painted it after he bought it. It's so kickass!!
Kez and I cosplayed together as Inuyasha and Koga while Amanda was Rukia (Bleach) and George was Calintz (Magna Carta: Tears of Blood). Kez and I entered the contest as a duo while George entered for his props. We had a lot of fun, and you'll never guess what happened...
Kez and I won Judges Award for our costumes~! My first time winning anything in a costume contest. (The cosplay improv at Chibi-Pa doesn't count :P )I was really happy, until they announced the prize in which I nearly spazzed on stage. We each won a pair of theatrical lenses fromt heir vendor for up to $300 in value. It took a lot in me not to freak out and jump around on stage with joy. We both ended up getting a pair of red lenses. I can't wait to try them on!
