“Are you sure you’ll be fine over there?” Kei asked as he saw Shige sit.
It was two days after the dinner party. They had already arranged that Shige would tail Kei everywhere during working hours. Kei still didn’t know why, just that it was for ‘work.’
Shige just waved him away and brought out his notebook and started to write.
It read:
The subject is very friendly. He looks after me as if I were a woman or something very fragile.
He is now reading over the script and talking with the director. The set is very much cluttered, everything scattered with shattered knick knacks. It was this same room that the last episode finished with. Must be a continuation.
The subject is getting into the set. He sits down on the floor holding something very sharp. He then closes his eyes, took two deep breathes and placed the object at his neck.
The set then went silent, the director shouted ‘action.’ After hearing that the subject’s aura changed. You could feel despair, sadness, and hopelessness emitting from him. When his eyes opened tears fell, sorrow written all over his face.
The subject is good at emoting and acting. I am very fortunate at having him as my subject. The question is how far can he go?

“Cut!”
Kei stretched his body at the call. For the first time in his career, he was glad that the shooting was finished for the day. He was a nervous wreck from start to finish. He was used to being watched but this was the first time that someone intently watched his movements.
He saw out of the corner of his eye Kato-san packing his things away and his mind starts to wander as he talks with the director.
Kato-san is like an owl. Most people would try to talk with the staff and ask them questions, but he was silent throughout the day. Even when the staff members asked him questions he just shook or nodded his head. Also his gaze is very piercing as he watched me intently. As if he wanted to know every minute detail of my movements. He is also very perplexing. I noticed that during lunch he didn’t even try to talk with anyone. He just silently ate while jotting down on his notebook. I must say that it was a very odd thing to do but he did say that he was just here to observe. Maybe he takes things in a literal sense, but for me this is very extreme.
Kei snapped out of his reverie as the director bade him goodbye. He then noticed Kato-san about to leave, so he caught up with him. He was determined to get to know the person.
“Ahm, Kato-san, I was wondering if you can join me for dinner?”
Shige looked at him for a few seconds and nodded his assent. Kei quickly changed and the two went out.

Shige was shocked.
The place they went to was a family owned restaurant. They were seated in a secluded corner wherein they can talk freely.
“Why are you shocked?” Kei asked as the waitress left with their orders.
“I thought you were going to pick an uptight restaurant.” Shige replied frankly.
“Oh. I always come to this place even when I started my entertainment career.”
Why?”
“Because coming here it helps me to clear my mind. This is a comfortable place and I feel at home here.”
“Why?” Shige was greatly puzzled, and he didn’t try to hide it. For him Koyama Keiichiro is a big enigma. He just didn’t fit his image.
Kei saw the puzzled look on Shige’s face and thought that either he was a hermit or a person who avoided the entertainment industry all together. He rather pick the former since the latter was inconceivable.
“You don’t know anything about me?” Kei tentatively asked. He saw Shige shake his head and was shocked. Almost anyone knew who he was because of the magazine interviews. “Why?” was the only thing he could say.
“Because I don’t have that much interest in the entertainment industry.”
“Oh.” My suspicions were correct, even if I don’t want them to. “Okay, well this place makes me feel comfortable because my family owns a ramen shop. I always like to go to places like this. How about you? What are your comfort zones?”
“My house.” Shige answered with no hesitation.
“That’s it?”
“Yep.”
“Why?”
“Well, I don’t like to go out much.”
Shige thought he heard Kei whisper ‘hermit’ but he must have imagined it.
