Okay, so from next week I'll be working at ELS institute AND Transworld Schools. OMG I am so going to die. I not going to be able to take summer school this year because I'm going to be in such demand out there. That's ok, I'm going to get paid even more because I'll be working from 8:30 until 3:30 or so that's like SEVEN hours a day and then I'll have to run over here to the AAU by 4pm and then work here five more hours. So my work load will go from 10 hours a day to TWELVE hours a day! Totally crazy but I need experience so I cannot afford to stop. My friend Marc just got rejected from an English teaching job in Japan because he had no teaching experience. That is so not going to happen to me. So I will take the job. If I work out for them that will mean new students, new experiences, + reccomendation letters all around. I want to get experience teaching in practically every ESL school in San Francisco. So when I apply for a job in Japan they aren't going to be able to resist me. Thankfully, the new job won't be every day as I'll just be subbing, and thankfully, in two weeks, the AAU semester will be over and I won't have to run over here every day. Not to mention, the new school is right on Powell Street, close to where the cable cars turn around, just steps away from all the major shopping in SF! Totally convenient! Tonz of Japanese male eye candy as well. *drools*. So it should work out well, I'm physically going to be EXHAUSTED, though. I also started this yahoo group for ESL instructors in as well, to give us a place to meet, share ideas, I'm going to start arranging meet-ups perhaps once a month. I'm going to create fliers and pass them out to the teachers at both schools, and at Intrax and St. Giles as well. Gah, I'm going to be so busy. But my future depends on this so I'd better bust my butt. All this will look sooo good on my resume. Now all I need to do is find some volunteer jobs. ^_^ I've gotta do my best!
