Chronicles of Comic-con
I know I haven't been posting very recently, well that's because these last four days I have been attending Comiccon at San Diego and boy am I tired!
This was my first time attending and I had a lot of fun.
I'm tempted to make a super long post on it just make up for the lost time, but I think I'll do it in parts since it's so late right now. So, let's start shall we? ^^
First off, there's the trip. San Diego Comic-con is held at the San Diego Convention Center at (obviously) San Diego. I live in Tijuana, that's in Mexico, so to get there we had to cross the border everyday.
Fortunately, my godparents' son (my godbrother?) was attending too so he could take me there everyday and leave to my own devices (we don't have the same tastes), he took a friend with him but that was ok.
All four days in the line were HELL. The heat was unbearable, even with the windows down and the AC on, and to make matter worse, they both smoke!! So it's two hours waiting for the line to move (and in the mean while watch cars get in your line) just to get a bitchy cop to ask you were you are going, what you are doing, to open the trunk, and some more stupid stuff just because they can't have a better job.
Arriving~
The first two days were okay, we foud a parking lot near the Convention Center, but Saturday was also hell. We had to park ten block away (give or take a few) and then walk all the way 'cause the cabs were just so freaking expensive (ten dollars each!!).
Once we got there were these tremendous lines, just to get a pass!! (reminded me of Disney waiting lines).
So, I say to the guys I'm with "oh, don't worry about me! I'm just gonna wait here for my friend with my pass" they shrug and leave. I wait, for like, an hour (we were supposed to meet at 12), but in the meawhile, I take a trip up and down the waiting line, while taking pictures of all the people dressed as anime characters (as well as getting a hug from them, YAY!!).
Finally the guy arrived (along his friends, whom by the way I didn't really like), he gave me my pass and off we went!!
