I don't really feel like writing today so this'll be quick

I hurt myself while riding today, Usually I ride with gloves because the reins are made of leather, but because of the sun my arms get a full tan while my hands look like ghost hands. So today I decided to got out without the gloves and the leather cut my skin, it's dnot eep or serious but it did hurt for a good while, I'm better now.

Suprisingly I didn't have any dreams last night but I still had time to write a bit, though I'm not reall sure about what I wrote.....feel weak to me but, ah well, here's the excerpt, see if you can figure it out.

The night had reached its quietest hour, the sound of crickets overwhelming the peaceful silence of the village and masking the arrival of a small group of scouts. Their steps fell to deft ears as they came upon the town square, their orders were to wait until the rest of the army arrived, but to their leader, quickness of action was a more important factor.

Small torches were silently lit and thrown into key buildings, the fire soon growing into tree high flames and spreading. At the same time the army of the Queen arrived, attacking the now terrified villagers trying to escape, striking their claws and swords into any creature that dared approach them. The smell of fear and smoke was overwhelming most of the villagers’ sensitive noses, the sounds of chaos hindering their otherwise superb hearing, relying only in their deficient sight and sense of survival.

The lucky ones who could escape their burning homes were soon met with the steel of swords or the natural sharp teeth and claws of their attackers. Children separated from their parents were trampled on, long furs and tails caught fire, a group of lizards tried to fight the fires with the water from the fountains, screams replaced the cricket songs as the town collapsed into ruin, the fairly large population now dwindling by cause of the fire or the Queen’s army.
