Stop being such unfriendly pricks.
The clubs, hang out, and gay parties are really the only way to meet lots of gay people here. That being said, you should be friendlier. I realized last night that me even checking someone out gave off that slutty vibe. There's absoletly no clear avenue to initiate simple conversation with out it looking like you're just trying to get laid. Why is that? Cause gays for some reason pretend that they're not looking for someone. This is super counter productive. It labels any kind of interaction outside of the friend circle as scandalous or risky cause you could be compromising your reputation. Therefore, nearly all the respectable gays don't partake in such courting/friend making activities. All the other respectable gays that recognize that "YES I do want to meet someone!" are then left with all the scum bag gays with relationship issues. You know the ones.....the ones who just want to do the bedroom tango. Why act like you're just above it all? Why not introduce yourself ? There's no need to be rude gays ....be polite. If you see my eyes glance past you, no I'm not undressing you in that corny metaphorical way! What I'd really like to do is probably dance with you and maybe then go on a date with you afterwards =). The liklihood of randomly bumping into someone outside of the gay district is still pretty minescule in such a small city like this. Just chill gays....not everyone is a predator.
I feel like there needs to be a non-hook up night at OCH or Rain. I wish there were some way to change this whole dilema....le sigh
