It's here...
...my internship at L.U.M. GmbH. From around 9.00 to around 7.30.
Today was the first day. I was given the usual safety instructions, though they're less strict there. Tomorrow I'll start wearing closed shoes. The weekend I'll see about pants that aren't too warm. I really didn't plan on turning into a puddle.
Then there were the tour and introductions. And when the boss get's back I'll finally get my contract.
Then I was shown how to prepare samples, document everything in that nice note book (the paper kind), put the samples into the nice machines and use the software. And I typed everything up for the customer. And when there wasn't any more stuff to do today I got to leave more than an hour earlier.
Tomorrow there'll be more new stuff to learn.
P.S. It takes 40 min to get there on my bike. One way. Twice a day. When classes start again I should be a bit thinner, don't you think?
P.P.S. Saturday we went swimming in one of the lakes here. I might even have tanned a little. And yesterday I had to mow my grandmas lawn, vacuum her apartment, water her plants and change her bedding. I only did th efirst two and my mum the latter two.
