Weerk.
UGH. I just want to go home, but nooo, PCR took forever, gel is taking forever, I just want to GO HOME AND EAT. And nap. Or just go to bed. I'm tired and somewhat discouraged, since PCR hasn't been working for my and my boss essentially told me yesterday "Well, just keep doing it until it works. Change different things until it works for you!" instead of designing new primers. She's right, but I hate doing such repetitive things.
I have lots of mouse babies, though. They are incredibly cute and squinty, as only a few of their eyes have opened yet. I have 2 that are 2 weeks old today, 9 that are 12 days old (OMG SO CUTE), 4 that are 8 days old, and 6-ish that are only 3 days old or so. And another mouse is pregnant, and we're hoping that two other mice are pregnant. Yay mouse babies.
Tissue homogenization is one of those things that isn't too hard but would get awfully repetitive. I think I will avoid it as long as possible. However! I will get to play with an electron microscope next week.
That's all I feel like writing about work right now.
