(no subject)
I've just been busting my ass on this CDC grant. I met a cute boy unexpectedly. We have a date on Wednesday. I ended up hooking up with him, and it let to him spending the night, and us talking for hours and hours. It was really weird. I'm not sure how to react. I think I need to try to have fun with this though. I'm sure having someone to date would be a great thing for me to "plant myself" in DC.
Scooter got spayed the other day so she's been out of it lately. She's looking great today though. Her incision is looking sooo much better. I love this cat as if it were my child, I swear. Not much else to report.
Oh!! I had a Core Group meeting and people actually showed up! Of course it wasn't my target population, but I didn't really care about my funded target population for the program anyway. I inherited a fucked up version of a program that resembled Mpowerment, and I've basically recreated it. I think I did pretty damn good if I say so myself :)
I've made a new friend at work, her name is Jewel. She's really cool. She works in the Pride office running the AIDS Walk, Pride Fest, and some fundraisers.
