Several. 1) It's less fun when people know beforehand, 2) you could have read the comment thread yourself; 3) if you didn't, you deserved to be surprised, and 4) I knew you'd chastise me for it. ♥

Don't tell me you're seriously upset about it... ? I wasn't going out of my way to keep it from you; you could have easily found out... and it wasn't a big deal, anyway.

I suppose I'm more upset that you'd willingly do something that you know is going to curtail time spent with me people. It's also difficult to seek information that one doesn't know exists in the first place, you do realize.

I guess that's true. I just wanted to point out that I wasn't keeping it from you; I just didn't seek you out to tell you. And anyway, I'm still allowed visitors. If I play my cards right, overnights can probably be arranged, too.
