Standing at the doorway with plectrums held tightly in the palm of his right hand, the atmosphere almost dead; surreal. Too long it had been since he had set foot here. Too long.
Memories of bliss came rushing back to him; sound of laughter ringing in his ears. Feedback from his amp causing them to yell at the horrible sound, and Kasumi's most treasured words to him.
It was all gone.
The memory of his departure carved into the mirrors of the now deserted studio.
'That's why they moved...'
The pain in his chest, throbbing, his breathing now uneven, bottom lip trembling. Tara brought his free hand to cover his mouth, trying to calm down. Fingertips brushing his lips, the memory of the first kiss he and Kasumi shared.
'It was only once.'
Broken and fragile, missing them all -- missing Kasumi.
The pain would never leave. Memories would keep haunting him.
But tears would never fall.
'They'll never show.'
