Seishun Amigo, Fantasy & Fairy Tales
Ok so this might be quite a long entry....so you are welcome to stay and read but if you're not interested..you better run before you get bored LOL
Firstly i'm gonna talk about Seishun Amigo...i love the song i think Pi and Kame did a great job with the song (eventhough i'm not really a fan of Kame..no offense to anyone who likes him)...
Anyway, my little sis stumbled upon this video of one of the Hello Project Kids group called Berryz Koubou singing Seishun Amigo...
Well, all i can say is...i didn't really like their version... i think they should have picked a different song to sing...well maybe because i'm too biased hahah...i know i sound mean but whatever...

Ok...change of topic. I love fantasy or fairy tale-like movies, animations or books..(that explains my love for Studio Ghibli movies and The lord of the rings ^^)
So basically this second half of my entry is about those type of movies that i've watched recently or planned to watch and i'll be putting trailers and music/songs i like from the movies..it will only be a couple of movies though....
One of the movies i've just watched is Miss Potter...It starred Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor....The movie is about the life of children's book author and illustrator Beatrix Potter. A couple of her works are The Tale of Peter Rabbit and The Tale of Benjamin Bunny....Since it's based on her life, so not many things can be changed when they did the movie....it's a wonderful movie but there is one part which i wish they could have change but obviously they couldn't because it happened in real life haha...it's still a good movie and there's a beautiful song that i like from this movie...it was a scene where Ewan sang to Renee...i'll post both the trailer and the songs here...

Another movie that i recently watched is Pan's Labyrinth..
Pan's Labyrinth, set in post-Civil War Spain, tells the story of a girl named Ofelia who is given three tasks by a mysterious faun. Meanwhile, her stepfather, the fascist Captain Vidal, viciously hunts for rebels in the region, and her pregnant mother grows ill. Heavily influenced by fairy tales and considered a spiritual sequel to The Devil's Backbone, the film employed make-up, puppetry, and CGI effects to create its fantasy creatures. I was so intrigued by this movie after i only saw the poster...i didn't even watch the trailer..i only saw the poster and i knew that i had to watch this movie....It's a dark yet fantastical movie and heart-breaking at times....and the theme song/music is hauntingly beautiful.....(and i'm sure most of my fellow singaporeans have heard the song cos they keep showing it on tv lately ....i guess it can get annoying to some lol)

Ok so, this last movie is a movie i'm planning to watch cos it is not out yet hehehe...
The movie is called Penelope...It stars Christina Ricci and James McAvoy...oh there's Reese Witherspoon too..
Penelope is a modern day offbeat fable about a young woman who, having spent her life trapped by a family curse sets out to find love and discover her true self. (taken from imdb)
Why i wanna watch this movie? cos i love the book!!! XD
A modern day fairy-tale and for those of you who doesn't know..her curse can make anyone lose their self-esteem....i can't wait for it to come out.... check out the trailer
