God, i haven't listened to Rentrer en Soi in AGES! I remember i used to love Sincerely like crazy...and i guess i still do. It's such a lovely song. (*´∀｀*) I still prefer their earlier stuff compared to their later ones. They're more dreamy and well, Satsuki's voice is not really suited to screaming and stuff....^^;; Sphire-Croid is my favourite album from them. I think it's their first full-length album. A Prelude is sooooo good. (*´∀｀*)
Anyway, went to Simon's birthday party last night, and it was so awesome! I haven't been to a house party at all this semester so yeah...^^;; There were a bunch of ppl that i didn't really know, but Ryo did introduce me to his Japanese friends, and it was really nice talking with them. A few of them thought i was Japanese and a couple kept insisting i was lying despite me telling them repeatedly that i'm from Malaysia...-_-lll But yeah, met a lot of new ppl, and managed to catch up with old ones. Thomas brought over some PS2 games as well. (o^-')b It was really nice. I really love house parties, since it's casual and stuff and we can actually have nice chats without having to shout and/or repeat yourself...as you tend to do in bars or clubs...-_-lll
We stopped by this open karaoke bar coz the bunch of Hongkies i went back with wanted to get something to eat and it was the only place open. It was....an interesting experience. (ﾟ∀ﾟ) Half of the ppl there were...probably gay...^^;; Robi and me couldn't stop laughing when ppl got on the stage to sing. o(≧∇≦)o And it was bad for him coz he was facing the stage and the ppl could clearly see him laughing at them. There was one old guy that was doing some sort of....twisty dance on the stage while singing some really obscene song...it was....extremely funny and mildly horrific. (ﾟ∀ﾟ)
Also, caught up with a few ppl that i haven't seen in ages (like "at least 6 months" ages), only to be told that they usually see me around Rundle Mall and often waved to me, but apparently i ignored them...-_-lll I honestly don't remember seeing them at ALL! That's the thing with acquaintances, you just don't know if they remember you or not so you end up not saying hi to them...^^;;
Anyway, also, one thing i've noticed abt me this year. Last year the only thing i would use when going out would be lipgloss, eyeliner, eyeshadow and probably mascara. But eversince early this year i've started using foundation and blush as well. And to be honest, it's really helped a lot with my confidence. Foundation just smoothes the uneven colours of your skin up and you really do look different. You just can't help but feel confident when you feel good abt your appearance and yourself. Last year, i would never go up to ppl and start talking to them, but this year, i do. I guess now i can finally say i'm not introverted anymore. ヽ(´ー`)ノ And also, i realized i'm less doormat-ish as well. I used to not care that much when ppl are being nasty to me. Well, i do care, but i just took it all in and endured whatever was thrown my way more or less silently. But this year, i'm less willing to put up with crap and rudeness from other ppl. And for me, it's a good thing. ヽ(´ー`)ノ
