Seung Hyun, the demon, encounters upon a small child and decides to raise him; naming him Ji Yong. Their relationship is taken to another level day by day as Seung Hyun’s cruel past awakens. Romance blooms between the two but what happens when Ji Yong and Seung Hyun are much different for acceptance in the society?

Chapter nine: Goodbye...
“Have you tracked them?” Tae Bin said as he sipped his evening tea.
“Yes, you majesty, they are not far from where we want them to be” replied his assistance.
“Fantastic....” Tae Bin mused, taking a bit out of his biscotti.
Seung Hyun and Ji Yong were out in the field, waking hand in hand as they shared little talks of love. The demon seemed very happy when he saw the other having a great time, it was heart warming.
“I love you...” Seung Hyun whispered into Ji Yong’s ears. The other giggled and pressed his lips against the demon’s cheek.
“Love you too...” he replied back as they shared another passionate kiss.
And so the afternoon went on with Seung Hyun and Ji Yong laughing and smiling together as the wind blew gently among the rolling heels. The place they were at looked peaceful and quite, Seung Hyun felt relieved.
They had a cute picnic together beside the lake and enjoyed another game of splashing each other with water. By the time they were done, they were soaking wet.
“Let’s take a bath, hyung..” Ji Yong announced. Seung Hyun grinned and suddenly picked up the little boy,
“There is a water den in the back.....let’s take one together....” he suggested and so they did. Ji Yong had his back against Seung Hyun’s firm chest as they shared love thoughts and occasional pecks.
The day just seemed so perfect, almost too perfect.
After they had finished the little bath, Seung Hyun and Ji Yong were curled up together with a blanket, sleeping soundly. The atmosphere was quite, until a loud crash was heard from outside.
Seung Hyun’s eyes flew open as his body covered Ji Yong protectively. His mind that was once in one place had turned hectic, he didn’t know what the noise was, but he could sense danger anywhere.
Noises of steps could be heard from the other side of the barn, Seung Hyun’s hand tightened.
“Omo! You guys are so cute!” came a wicked voice from the darkness. The demon scrunched his eyes to see what was talking to them and then his pupils turned small. It was Tae Bin.
“What do you want, Tae Bin?” Seung Hyun asked, clutching into Ji Yong, who was still asleep.
He cackled a laughter, “You know what I want very well....” he replied back.
Seung Hyun sighed and stood up, “Just leave us alone, Tae Bin. You killed my mother, I am not going to let anything happen” he said, loud.
And then more demons came around his father, all looking disgusting and hungry. “Look Seung Hyun, you’re surrounded, now come to me or I will destroy him...” Tae Bin said with an evil grin.
Seung Hyun’s nostrils flared with anger, “I WILL KILL YOU IF YOU TOUCH JI YONG” he said grabbing him the other by his collar. The demons hissed and Tae Bin held out a hand,
“Came down, he pushing my kindness...” the older said. With that Seung Hyun punched his brother hard as a little bit blood trickled down his lips.
With the noise, Ji Yong had woken up, “Hyung....” he called. Seung Hyun immediately went to his side,
“Just stay close!” he shouted as all the demons now came closer. He kicked with force as some tried to touch the younger. Ji Yong was afraid and clutched to Seung Hyun for support, hiding behind his shield.
“HA! Do you honestly think you could protect him from me?” Tae Bin shouted back, wiping the blood of from his mouth.
With one swift motion, Ji Yong was in his hand and Seung Hyun cringed in pain as he felt his body burning.
“HYUNG!” Ji Yong cried out as Seung Hyun began to shed blood.
“Let me eat you or say goodbye to your love forever!” Tae Bin shouted.
Seung Hyun’s head was spinning and the pain was unbearable. “HYUNG! HYUNG!” Ji Yong yelled as tears rolled down his cheeks.
“Ahh....Tae Bin....take me....give him back.....” Seung Hyun managed to say, crawling towards Ji Yong. “Ji.....” he called out in between gasps.
“Mmm.....I’ll take both, actually!” Tae Bin said, smiling wickedly.
“NO!” Seung Hyun shouted back, trying to regain his sense. He reached for the piece of glass that was sitting on the floor and attacked Tae Bin.
Tae Bin threw Ji Yong to the other side and drew his own sword. Seung Hyun ducked the oncoming sword and cut through his skin with the sharp object.
“YOU!” Tae Bin cried out. Seung Hyun felt even more pain as he again fell down in the floor, his eyes looking only for Ji Yong.
He was against a wall with blood dripping out from his head. The older used all his force to crawl up to Ji Yong, “Ji Yong, are you okay?” his eyes now filled with tears.
“mmm...” Ji Yong moaned, biting back the pain.
“Oh no you don’t” Tae Bin said acting fast and running over the two lovers. He took Ji Yong by the neck, “Goodbye...” he said before plunging the sword into his chest.
“NO!” Seung Hyun cried back, punching his brother but a sudden bright light coming from Ji Yong’s body.
With the bright light, there was a gust of wind that was carrying flowers as it wrapped around Ji Yong’s body. Tae Bin’s heat quivered as he was knocked out by a sudden attack of birds at his way.
Ji Yong’s body then turned into small white petals as a whisper could he heard, “Hyung....I will love you forver....” as they fell in front of Seung Hyun.
“Ji Yong! Ji Yong, don’t leave me!” the demon cried out.
“I will always be with you.....” said the whisper as the light died down, and all there left was the pile of white petals.
Ji Yong was the nature, he was the wind.
