Chapter Nine
Ji Yong and Seung Hyun returned from the dilemma that had happened a few minutes ago to their dorms. The younger had fallen asleep in his bed as Seung Hyun flipped through a random magazine. He was frustrated with all the drama Ji Yong had to face. After the hug they had shared a while ago, Seung Hyun found it difficult to resist the other. He was falling for him, damn hard.
The older groaned and threw the magazine against the wall. Ji Yong shuffled in his bed a bit, but kept on sleeping heavily. Seung Hyun needed booze and fast. He quickly got dressed and headed out of the dorm, locking the door behind him. Seung Hyun texted Yong Bae and jumped over the fence for a night of relaxing, but little did he know, he was going to discovering feelings.
It was almost midnight when Ji Yong woke up, sweating and panting from a night mare. He often had these scary dreams about his parents and just life itself; but it always frightened him. Ji Yong looked around and noticed Seung Hyun was missing. He was nervous about what he had done the other day. It was rare for him to hug someone he didn’t know so well, but it meant nothing right? But why was his heart acting up as he remembered the embrace. Surely, his feelings for Seung Hyun was mutual, but why?

“As you may know, the March breaks are beginning tomorrow. Everyone is expected to return to their respective homes until it is again the start of school, which will be a week after. Students, please start packing your things and preparing for your leave. Your parents have already been contacted, I look forward to meeting you all soon. Have a nice break!” the headmaster said as she stepped off the stage.
Ji Yong had his head hung down as he heard the other students cheer and shouting in joy. He didn’t want to go back home. Where will he go? His father was always busy and his mother hadn’t talked to him for five months. Worry and panic approached Ji Yong as he tried to think about some other way, but what?
“Um...so what are you doing for the breaks?” Seung Hyun asked, taking a sip from the vitamin water. Ji Yong shifted uncomfortably, lowering his head a bit. To be honest, Ji Yong didn’t want to return to his parents. After what had happened, he wasn’t sure how to except anything anymore.
“I don’t know....” Ji Yong replied back, annoyed. Just because Seung Hyun had helped him a few times, doesn’t give him a right to ask personal question.
“Wanna come to my place? I don’t have parents so I go to an orphanage, they are very nice people” Seung Hyun chirped. Deep is his heart, he wanted Ji Yong to join him in the breaks.
“Not really.....” Ji Yong said as he started walking to his dorm.
“Well, you can think about it, right? I leave tonight, so just come to me if you feel like it...” Seung Hyun pressed. He really did want the younger to join him in the holidays, he felt like he would miss him too much, even if they weren’t as close.
“No, I think I’ll just go home” Ji Yong retorted back as he continued to walk. Seung Hyun was a bit hurt from the harsh response, but he felt like it was his fault. The older knew he had ruined his first impression of Ji Yong, he wanted to resolve it.
“Hey man, goin’ back home for the breaks” Yong Bae asked, resting his arm around Seung Hyun’s shoulder.
“Yeah....you?” Seung Hyun asked.
“Nawh, I’m going with Dae Sung and Seung Ri is coming. Wanna join?” he asked.
“Think I have to go back to sister Ae-Cha, she’s been nagging for some time” Seung Hyun replied back, scratching his head.
“It’s cool, well text or call me if you need us” Yong Bae said.
“Peace...” the older whispered back.

“Ji Yong, its mother. You have to stay with your father for a while until I get back from Japan. I’ll pick you up once I have everything finalized with the company and I have to introduce you to somebody” Mrs. Kwon said through the office phone. Ji Yong knew this “somebody” was another man and the thought made his stomach twists in knot. “I hope everything is going fine at school and I will meet you soon” she said before Ji Yong heard the sound of the disconnection.
He tried hard not to cry right there. His parents were completely ignoring the issue of the divorce. Even though his father had said that it was none if his business, he still had the right to know. It was his position and relationship with them that prevented him to argue with his parents.
It was almost time for Seung Hyun to live when he looked at the small bag that was sitting outside their dorm. Ji Yong’s heart tugged a little, telling him to go with Seung Hyun, but that would be crossing his lines.
“So, um, see ya” Seung Hyun said as Ji Yong jerked a bit from the surprise. The older looked a bit sad from the basket ball cap he was wearing with a casual white t-shirt. He slowly picked up his bags and left for the exit.
Ji Yong stood there, just hearing Seung Hyun’s foot step fade away, and only then, he had done something out of the ordinary. His legs started to sprint to Seung Hyun’s direction as he ran to catch up to the other.
“Seung Hyun! Seung Hyun, wait!” Ji Yong called. He was confused with what his body was doing. It was certainly not what he would have done if he was thinking straight, but it felt right.
Ji Yong could see the other leaving the school gate as he fastened his pace, trying ever so hard to reach him.
“Seung Hyun, stop...” a voice said, achieving Seung Hyun’s ear and stopped at that moment. He felt a strong thud against his back and a whisper, “Take me with you...”.
