Wonderful Wintery Weather
It rained today! It's still windy and rainy now! :D
The weather here has cooled down quite considerably, and I am happy. :)
I didn't go in to uni today, even tho' I had a class. Truth is, I can do said uni-class-work at home, much faster, on my own computer! I need a few lessons in XL, from my computer-whiz brother (I never was much good at excel, and we have a whole 57-page computer-labs manual to work with XL for math this semester), and then I can load all the work onto my USB (iPod) and transport it to uni to be marked. I am behind on my weekly math assignments, but the lectures are all over the place, so that shouldn't matter too much...
Truth? I got a ton more work done today than I would have if I'd gone out for two hours of uni. I typed up (that was the time-consuming part) and narrowed down my essay questions for English (which is good, since the 1st essay is due on Friday 11th April! Yipes! At least it's only 1000words.
I also edited a short manuscript (I hope it helped!), printed out auxillery notes for English, printed out my math computer-labs manual (all 57 pages! 2 pages to an A4 sheet of paper, but still, that's an awful lot of ink and paper!), translated some Middle English into Modern English, downloaded lecture notes (an mp3), updated my CV, updated my timetables, cleaned up the kitchen, did a ton of washing up, mended my backpack, and did some grocery shopping. Phew! What a day!
I sleep better when it rains, even when it storms. Last night I slept so well... I hope it keeps raining throughout the night tonight. The garden needs the rain, and I need the sleep!
