So, my latest idea, albeit not on genius level, is to really beef up my dvd collection. That is, if the price is right. I have probably bought no more than a handful of dvds this year. In fact, I don't recall buying a single one in july or august and the one before that was Batman which was $9.99. I've probably bought more books than dvds this

whats the point of buying dvds now when they come out with a special-edish 3 months down the line. JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN GOODS NOW. For example, the movie Airplane is coming out with a special edition and i already have the regular one...i wanna see the special shit but i don't want to spend an extra 20 on a movie i already have. plus, why didn't they just put all the goodies in the dvd in the first place? I mean, that movie is like, thirty years old, did it take them untill now to find all the special features and throw them on a disc? I've decided to get netflix and start buring the special editions of the movies i allready have, like office space and the big lebowski and sin city. I allready spent the money on movie probably more than once, i'm not going to do it again for an extra 10 minutes of leslie neilson saying, "I just wanna say good luck, we're all counting on you."
