"What have you done for me lately?"
Lately I've been doing my best to work on creating the same shape and making sets. It's not actually going super well, but... I'm learning lots. I tried to start with a "simple" shape, and I actually made it much more complicated than I needed to. In any case, I'm trying anyway.
Oh, and I made a fairly nice bowl...
After making about 12 of one shape (and then throwing away a bunch of them...) I changed to a much simpler shape that will center much more around the trimming aspect.
They will be taller, a bit nicer tumblers based on this smaller one:
Last, I'm still working on trying to make the vase for Nikki. I'm not there yet (it's a really tall shape for me, but I'll get there eventually...) and this isn't one that I'm super happy with, but it helps to keep making the shape. This one isn't as nice, but it is taller. However, this shape takes a lot of clay, so it's going to take a bit to get it perfect.
