If you're on xanga, then you saw this once today.
Drew found my cds, so I thanked God as well as him. Everyone says so but I never listened to them before: you always miss what you had and lost more than what you never had to begin with. In my case, I think it's most evident in the fact that I'm listening to my awful new Dillinger Escape Plan cd for the second time despite it's NIN influence. Ugh, wow I don't know why I'm even listening to it.
On to bigger and better things, I'd like to get a few carpools together in October. Death Cab and Pretty Girls Make Graves are playing Cat's Cradle again, that's the 25th. Also there's the Blood Brothers show on the 27th in Richmond so anyone that's interested in either driving or throwing down some for gas.....yeah. Make sure you remember to check back with me too cause those nasty surprises on the last day aren't as welcome as they would be a month in advance.
There are about three people that are happy I've updated twice within a few days and the other fifty are thinking that I should've kept going at my once every month deal. But oh well, I wish I could pre-order vinyl instead of just cds. Those record companies need to wisen up to the two of us who want vinyl first rather than a cd (hint hint mr. blood brothers slut).
I'm well overdue for a lynchburg trip, it needs to happen soon. Oh and anyone interested, I'll be driving up to Lexington on Sunday for the EFT and Savannah Savior show so throw down or go down. Ok, that little phrase just now wraps up any future attempts at me sounding like the 18 Visions singer, God bless his sold out behind.
So far I can say that I'm oddly content to be back at Va Western. My only friends are Drew, Leona Dear, and funny Bill, but it's nice not to have to avoid anyone......yet! I love the new Engine Down cd despite indie criticism. I also love young black James Brown...........ah, I mean uh, I thought we were sharing.
