[she beams at Cynric. Colors and fun are pretty much the core values she lives by and so she beckons with one dye stained hand.]

Yes, I would! Thank you! [He looks around at all the dying materials.] What do I do?

Oh! I'm sorry, I thought everyone knew how to dye. Well, that is a terrible, terrible mistake and I will correct it! First, you tie the garment you want to dye...it doesn't really matter where, everywhere will make a beautiful pattern! Then, you soak it in the dye for about 15 minutes. Soak it in more colors if you want more colors! Then, you untie the knots - and you have a beautiful tie dye! What's your name, darling?

Sounds easy enough! [He picks up a bottle of dye to inspect it. It's blue.]

He uses a lot of blue and purple. He just sort of spills it some of the tied clothing, then looks at it, nodding with conviction.] Yes! Alright! So now what.

[winces internally, but then puts on her best camp counselor voice that she uses for 'special' kids like Dogen.] That was a good job for the first try, darling, but let's be more carefully the next time, okay? Let me show you how to do it. [and with exquisitely slow movements she ties a shirt, dunks it in the dye and shows him how to do it.]
