Idol nearly gave me a heart attack.
Gah, I hate Kristy Lee Cook. Just as I was warming up to her, she has to get herself eliminated. I've been eagerly anticipating her elimination since Top 24 and when it finally happens, I derive no joy from it. Damn you Kristy and your sense of humour and general - am I really saying this? - likability.
Why couldn't Syesha have gone? I still hate her.
I know that Idol did the Cookie/Syesha swap on purpose to create tension and suspense. Deep down, I knew that there was NO WAY Cookie could've hit bottom 3 on the strength and amazing-ness of his Always Be My Baby performance. But when Kristy joined him, and knowing that Kristy was eliminated this week from accidentally reading a spoiler, I was a nervous wreck throughout the whole show, worrying sick that, in some sick twist that defied all notions of sense and fairness, David had hit bottom 3.
But HE DIDN'T. I was so relieved when he swapped places with Syesha.
And how cute was it when he sat down next to ArchuBot? Did anyone see his face when Ryan referred to him and Kristy as "the Cooks"? HAHAHA. I about died laughing.
I also completely laughed my ass off at Carly (in a good way) when she was obviously ten steps behind Ryan and didn't realise that her group was safe. She was jumping up and down, all excited, when Cookie had already "got it" and sat down next to ArchuBot (who also didn't get it). Carly is hilarious. I was convinced she was going to leave this week but not only did she stay out of B3, she survives another week! Yay!
Lastly, Is David Single? Yes. Enough said.
