My Sembreak To-Do List

Oct 11, 2008 04:19

Got the idea from JV Ong. JV, if you think I'm plagiarising, you can sue meh :P

Seeing that I don't want to waste the 1st semester Break by just slacking off, I want to do some 'productive' and I believe, important things to get ready for the next semester (which I believe would be 1000000000x harder than the last sem), to relax and rest, and most of all, to reflect on what has transpired so far in my first college year. Playing Computer games (since I do play once in a while, even during the semester) and watching mindless videos that seem funny but really are NOT do not count on this list. I also have a lot of catching up to do. Hopefully, I would accomplish all of these. If not, oh well XP

Note: Thank you, block mates for the great time yesterday :) ROCK BAND rules! sayang hindi pwede iextend ang time :( . Chesca, don't forget libre mo! joke :P

1. Recoup my finances- Basically, everything that's related to money, may it be the way I save up or use, I have to rethink my plans if I ever want to do anything properly. So far, I'm making a bit of progress but hopefully after this sem break, I'd be able to save more from my allowance.

2. Catch up with friends- Gustong gusto kong sulitin itong sem break! I want to see all my friends again (barkada, prom kada, block mates, org mates, Xavier/ICA high school friends, old and new friends, high school classmates, friends outside xavier, close friends...etc.) No excuse, sem break na! >:)

3. Learn some new songs (and relearn old ones(- I haven't been playing the guitar for a long time. There's no better time period for me to get some new tunes than during a one month long period. I also need to relearn some songs I've already learned. Yeah, a very long layoff from music you play makes you forget.

4. Play Sports. a lot. more.- What does an active guy do during a one month lay-off? Why, play sports he's often left off during a course of around 4 months! Basketball, swimming, bowling, badminton, the works. Obviously, the goal's to lose weight and stay fit before the IAC season continues.

5. Go to the Gym (plausible)- This is a far cry, but I said before that I would go back during the break to pump some iron. But since I'm gonna play sports full time, maybe I'll reserve this for the summer.

6. Ponder on my New Subjects for Next semester- Basketball or Ballroom Dancing? Chemistry or Biology? More time in the morning or less go-time in the afternoon? These will be some of the questions I'll make answers for before Registration (btw, online enlistment for Freshmen is on November 4). Help anyone? :(

7. Watch more Gundam 00 Eps!- My favorite anime as of the moment and I watch it on Youtube (thanks to those who post the eps! You're all lifesavers!) Love the concept, characters, mechs, twists and turns, everything! If you guys have a DVD of Season 1 or even Season 2, can I borrow? :)

8. Help my Dad at work- Seeing that I promised to my mum that I would help my Dad at the store if I have free time, I can't really refuse. Besides, I feel obligated to help him out, even if it's just doing the paper work.

9. Visit DLSU, UA&P and UP (UST if plausible)- I want to see the likes of Dwight, Charles Cue, Duenas, Aids, T10 and Iggy and Festine in their own campuses. Besides, I want some more adventure. ;)

10. Reflect, Learn from and Enjoy the ACLC Retreat- This one, I'm pretty sure I'll live up to. The retreat's starting tomorrow and I don't feel I'm ready for it (I still haven't packed my bag yet), better yet I don't know what to expect. Rest assured, when I come back, hopefully, I would change a bit for the better. :)

11. SLEEP MORE- 'nuff said.
