Valentine's
Valentine's Day was great. I took a test that turned out to be easier than I thought it would be. 88 for Bohlander's Penology. Fuck yeah. I got an 85 on my Psych of Learning test too. I took another test today that I should have totally aced.
But back to V-DAY. After school I got back here, taped up a big sheet of paper that said "Will you be my valentine?" and underneath it had little boxes to check yes, no, or maybe. I taped up a pen with it on one side of the bathroom mirror. On the other I wrote the last two stanzas of my favorite poem by my favorite poet, Pablo Naruda. After that I just waited for Josh to get home from work.
He ended up taking me to my favorite restaurant, Yuki's, for dinner. He didn't make a big deal out of it though, we didn't get any reservations and hadn't even planned to go out. We actually went out early enough to not have to wait at all at on of the trendiest restaurants in Bowling Green. We had a great dinner, delicious. It was nice to go out, but it was also nice to not have to deal with crowds or reservations or hassle. That was the last thing I wanted, and it didn't happen.
When we got home from dinner, we exchanged presents. We had a $20 rule on gifts. I gave him two pairs of boxers. One had a big "steal your face" Dead logo on it, the other had the Dark Side of the Moon logo. He bought me a big box of Godiva chocolates (only the best chocolate EVER!) and a couple of Cadbury eggs. It was perfect.
After that we watched American Idol, and then...well...you know.
It was a great Valentine's Day, I couldn't have asked for more or for a better Valentine. Josh is awesome. Woo.
Tonight--CARLOS MENCIA!!! Fuck Yeah! We're going to see him at WKU tonight.
