Hi.
Thanks for checking out my journal. If you're here just to look, sorry it's another one of those annoying friends-only journals, but I tend to be paranoid about things, and keeping my private life restricted to a certain group of people on the internet? Yeah, something I'm interested in.
Thinking of adding me? How lovely of you. A few things first, however. Do I know you? Have we commented back and forth at all before? Do we have similar interests? If I look at your profile, will I be able to tell we have similar interests? Do we belong to any of the same communities? If you answered yes to any of those, feel free to add me and there's a better chance of me adding you back. Mostly "no"s? Well, you could try anyway I guess. Thing is, I've been on LJ since 2001. I've seen people come and go, added people I'd never talked to before... and, well, I've gotten picky. I like keeping my friends list under control. I'm not really that interesting anyway, and I hardly update anymore. I doubt you're missing much :)
Been removed? Pissed off about it? It's the internet, get over it. Don't bitch at me about it. 95%+ of the time I remove people due to lack of communication. If we never talk, what's the point? I'm not saying you HAVE to comment. It's nice, yes. I like commenting. It's fun. But if we never talk, might as well save each other some time, eh? No hard feelings. If I didn't like you, I wouldn't have added you or I would have removed you sooner.
