i feel as though this summer has been paced pretty well for me. that is, aside from the fact that i wish i had worked a lot more and i really have been spending too much. i use my credit card like it's nothing. someone needs to cram some money sense into me.
louisville was wonderful. laura and i made about 38439 collages and personalized 8 beer coozies for our room (a coozie for each roommate, and 4 that say "guest"). totally lame, but we were feeling crafty and it was nice to shoot the shit with my roommate. caitlin came saturday morning and we all went to this art/music/activism thing at an old meat packing plant in town. i bought a colorful messenger bag for books, and later a rainbow necklace at a shop on a neat little shopping street. louisville seems like a pretty sweet city.
tonight lizzay came over and we talked on my front porch for a few hours. i feel like i haven't done that enough this summer... i've hung out with people, but i haven't really caught up with anyone. so if anyone is up for a long walk/phone call, let me to know.
