today was a day of mildly to extremely disturbing imagery.
what a wonderful weekend. thursday and friday were study days. friday i went home, did some laundry, then saw the 2006 variety show. it was so effing hilarious... between seeing david hall do his choreographed "a little less conversation, a little more action" and marypat carletti doing "popular" (they did 4 songs from wicked... pretty sure that's not legal. good thing the saint mary's variety show is under the entertainment radar)... so funny. we called lizzay and kaela about 39483 times that night. of course we went to the cast party and i may have invited the entire cast (well, the U21's at least) to come up and visit during the children's show. man i love those kids.
so saturday was black box awards. we all went, dressed up, and won some stuff. really wonderful. the party afterwards was awesome- my legs are incredibly sore from dancing and my neck is a little stiff from "jump the stick." let me explain... when i say "jump the stick" i mean that you take a broom and spin in a circle 30 times until you are barfingly dizzy. then you drop the stick (or broom) on the ground and try to jump over it. one must always be in a large grassy area and be reasonably sober when playing this game in order to avoid concussions. speaking of which, i need to wish rita a happy 2-year anniversary of breaking my kitchen window with her forehead!
anyway, it was a really fabulous weekend. i spent basically all day today at 456 keifaber either watching movies or talking about the various imagined, potentially hilarious studio couples. i am not going to think or write or talk about those girls not being here next year. especially my seester.
cheesy time: i was walking down stuart hill and past the recplex today and one thought kept running through my mind: i love it here. i love it here. this feels right.
