An open letter...

Dear lovely people at Bath and Body Works,

First off let me say I love your products, I always have. Your products make my old skin actually soft in places that I never thought would be soft again. (My feet, what did you all think?) The smells of your products are never overwhelming and I enjoy taking a bath and using them.

That being said, I feel the need to say, WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE TRYING TO DO TO ME???????? DO YOU WANT ME TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK???????

I have a 9-year-old sadist little boy. Last night I was called into the bathroom by an hysterical 9-year-old who was screaming, MOMMY HELP ME, HELP ME! I run into the bathroom and come face to face with my child who has blood running from his nose. He's crying and tells me that he fell in the tub. I run to get a wash cloth to stop the bleeding and I think that he must have slipped from the soap.

As I come back with the washcloth he has his hands over his nose and he's whimpering, it hurts, it hurts. I move his hand from his nose and start to wipe gently at the blood. Then I smell it. The unmistakable smell of APPLE.

Apple.

I look over at the ledge and there is the open bottle of the Temptations Apple body/bath soap. It's BRIGHT RED! My little sadist son decided it would be fun to rub it under his nose and pretend he had a bloody nose. I almost killed him right there.

Do you think it's possible that the people in your labs could change the color of that product so it doesn't resemble BLOOD???? Is that too much to ask? I don't think so. You've taken 10 years off my life. I think I deserve some compensation from this.

Thank you.
