Harry/Ron Bigbang 2011
OK, there was a significant number of speculative yeses to another Big Bang, so let's go frit, shall we?
The consensus was a 15,000 word (or art equivalent - I'll leave that up to the artist's judgement) minimum to qualify.
That's just 2500 words a month, if you start now!!
I think I liked the way everything else worked, last time - but I am going to have official sign-ups in August, so that artists know who is planing on writing, and can approach someone interesting and ask them if they want to collaborate - that way artists can be involved as early as possible - there is no earthly reason why they can't be involved in plot.
Of course, they are also allowed to art a big arty thing, or wait until January, when writers will have something significant to submit that needs arting.
So.
Significant Dates
® August 1st 2010 : official sign-ups open.
® January 1st 2011 : draft scenes begging for art due.
® February 14th 2011 : all fics and art due.
® March 1st 2011 : posting of all submissions at harryronbigbang.
® April 1st 2011 : fest ends and you can repost your fic wherever you like.
So.
Have a think until August 1st.
It's a very self disciplined fest - I will try and amuse and poke you, but there is no exchange or gift element, so I cannot threaten anyone.
But, if you love Harry/Ron - if the glimpses we have seen of Silver Doe make you sure you will love them ever such a lot in November/December - if you want lots of wonderful long fic to read next March, between trips to see How to Succeed....
