Last night...
Get Set Go was awesome. Thank you Liz Lawner for knowing about such awesome bands. And Mike T.V. is awesome and I want his children. He is going on my to do list.
Anyway...getting to the Knitting Factory went smoothly, but the city closed down the subways as we were trying to get back to Grand Central, so there was a slight moment of panic. Like, WTF? Who closes the NYC subway system at 11:00? Jeesh. So we took a cab. Our cab driver was cool, but really hard to understand.
On the train ride home we met these kids from Mamaroneck and Pelham, and they know all these people from New Ro who we know, and we know all these people from Mamaroneck that they know. One guy knew Ben Teitz and Blaine and I were like "ahhh Ben Teitz!!!!! Why do you know Ben Teitz?" It was crazy. Once we got back to New Ro, all six of us (Me, Blaine , Eileen, Liz, Ray and Paul) all squeezed into Paul's car and Paul drove me and Blaine back to my house. I must say that driving with Paul is quite an experience. Didn't think I would make it home. But I did.
P.S. I lost the game.
