We (the family) went down to Port Campbell on the weekend which is down on the coast. My father felt that we needed to get out of thew house. It takes about 3 hours to drive there from where we live. $ if you bring a dog, drink a whole bottle of powerade in the first 40 minutes and stop to buy a digital camera.

It was really hot in Melbourne over that weekend one day was 37 and the next was 42 so I am so so happy that we missed out on that otherwise I would have died. Anyway we walked our ass-off over those first two days, literally. Day 1 we went on this big trek thing where you walked along thse oaths and you could see all the water coming into the caves and all the coast line and the cliffs. It was about 6 miles long and i was wearing slip ons. Oh the pain. We then went (drove) to the Twelve Apostles. The flies were DISGUSTING!!! I have never seen so many in my life. Every single person had like 30 on their back and they where just swarming everywhere.

Day 2 mother decided that we should do the discovery walk because it looked fun (sounds like a horror film in the making) neither-the-less we agreed because it didn't look that long. Well i bearly made it up the stairs and the first part was all up hill but it wasn't too bad because we had the sea breeze but then we went around and all the trees were in the way so we walked walked walked walked walked and we came to a carpark thus we had to walk alllllll the way back. We did however see an Echidna or the back of one anyhow.

So, by the time New Year came around only me and my sister were up (the dog had also gone to sleep) to celebrate.

Yes, that was facinating

festive
