The limited complete pressing of Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie Part 3: Rebellion (Gekijō-ban Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica Shinpen: Hangyaku no Monogatari) sold 149,824 copies to rank #1 among all Blu-ray Discs on Oricon's Japanese sales charts for the first half of 2014. This is the second year in a row that an anime film topped Japan's overall Blu-ray Disc sales, after Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo accomplished the same feat last year.
