i'm back
I am back! Jet lagged, exhausted, but happy, :D even more happy to come back to a place where the air is clean! (relatively anyway) and there's no danger of unwanted cigarette smoke in public buildings :D :D :D
I never believed in the stories people told me about how their stomachs would always be upset when they went to china, I always thought i'd be exempt from such a travesty, but alas, I succumbed (my immune system succumbed???) to the cycle of bad luck known as IBS of the traveler's kind. in any case, I am still alive! and strange to say, i feel an undeniable foreigness as I attempt to grasp ahold of the English language once again. it's as if the ink has run dry out of my still stiff fingertips.
I feel like i've left LJ forever! anyway, good to be back. :)
