I'm officially back home.
Summer Vacation has officially begun!
Let the oral surgeries begin!
Well, not yet. I go in for a sleep study tonight to see if my tonsils are causing sleep apnea. If so, surgery will commence fast. If not, they want to wait to see if I get any more infections this summer and if it's my cherubim at school causing all my tonsil infections (I think they're coming out whether I like it or not.)
So, my lazy summer will now consist of: Plenty of sleep, Teaching some private clarinet and sax lessons, getting myself a new alto sax, working up my bassoon chaps, plenty more sleep, a small trip to Georgia for Grandma's 80th birthday surprise, even more sleep,... and two oral-related surgeries.
I'd like to stay away from the wonderful world of NHS for now, though I hear the call of the office and need for organizing for next year not too far away...
I just put up an air conditioner, too. Hallelujah. The humidity is KILLING me. That's something I didn't have much of in Potsdam this year...
