Yay! I'm glad you liked it. I've never heard the song before (I don't listen to country music), I was just going off of the lyrics, so I wasn't sure if the mood of the fic would be in complete opposition to the song or not.

That was so wonderful. I love the whole chair thing. Such a small detail but it really was a wonderful way of showing the depth of Draco's feelings. And I like how you've managed to work with the epilogue and make it not just the typical affair fic.

I think that regardless of how hormone crazed, or disappointed with his and Ginny's relationship Harry might be, that he would never actually cheat. He's a good guy, and he and Ginny are friends before anything. I do think Ginny would be understanding, and also that as long as she thought Harry might eventually come around, that she would be with him, even if she knew he wasn't really with her. That's just how love works. You hope, even when there isn't any (luckily for Harry and Draco though, there is some).

I also had to give Ginny a happy ending. She was so good to Harry, it wouldn't be fair to leave her scorned. :P

Holy... Wow, that's lot of emotions to put me through in so few words. Well done! It was going along so smoothly, and then BAM! Hit me right in the gut. Loved the bittersweet ending though. Glad they found their way back to each other, but so sad that they missed out on so many years they could have been together. Just beautiful. :-)

Yeah, if only I wasn't trying to be epilogue compliant I wouldn't have made them wait so long! I felt so mean, but then, when I got to the end of writing it, I felt happy the same way Harry did. The situation may have sucked, but because of it, he's got three children that he adores, and he's got the rest of his life now to be with Draco.

the beginning was so wonderful (blushing!harry ftw) and so full of glorious lines. then the inevitable sadness (damn epilogue), which you did so well. and i was happily squeeing like mad and soooo didn't expect you to take it even further and go post-epilogue, and i'm so happy you did!

If I had to base the fic just off the song lyrics, writing that fic would've ruined my day, because I got so upset when Draco married Astoria (I have a tendancy to 'become' the characters when I am writing them, and when Harry burned the chair, I lit the match). I was so relieved when I got past the epilogue hump and could rebuild this thing.

I liked how dramatic you made yours. Mine just sort of has this weird, going-through-the-motions feel, but yours was cool because of the suspense! It wraps you up and freaks you out a little.
