That news made me so happy.
I don't know anything about what he's been through, but it doesn't matter.
He's been gone for over a week.
Le's be clear about this - he's been trapped in Voldemort's lair for over a week, and he is still alive.
And that should give us all hope.
He may even have vital information that could help us defeat them, for once and for all.
I hope I can visit him soon.
Remus is the last close link to my parents that I have. Unless I count Snape... yeah, right.
It means so much to me that he survived this.
And I take heart that the quietest and gentlest of my father's friends has managed to come through such a test of courage and endurance. That really gives me hope for people like Neville.
I had better go and get ready. It was Hermione's birthday the other day, and Ron and I have a surprise in store for her.
I hope she likes it.
