Have the feeling that I was part way through this chapter when suddenly finding myself with no time, since the first part sounded familiar and the rest did not. Can't believe I'm saying this, but am actually looking forward to next week when daughter's swim practice shifts back to mornings and the alarm is set for 3:55 - more time to read pirate fic!

Yea! The Pearl is looking like herself again and so is her captain (Rats! honorat beat me to "all is right with the world"), and Jack is charming yet another housekeeper out of goodies. So glad the next chapter is just a click away (something to be said, after all, for being behind).
Too true -- you don't have to read it as a WIP -- although I posted the last five chapters within a two week span, so there wasn't much of a wait, at this point. It's funny, I IM'd my daughter, ladymora, last night and she was in the middle of reading Harry IV, too.

3:55!! Heavens. But I guess you only have a couple more years of that and the kids will be off to college? I thought you said they were both in high school. Yeah, once they leave the nest, it's a big change for you and them. They grow up so fast!
