Oh, that was lovely, GM. I was in a black depression this morning (blame my rowing coach, who is about my least favourite person right at this moment) and that's really cheered me up. Beautifully written, and really sweetly moving.

You know, once again your writing reminded me of Joan Aiken! I think I mentioned her before in connection with your Harry stories; it's something about the liveliness of your writing, I think, and the dialogue. This one reminded me of the three books she wrote set in/around Spain (Go Saddle the Sea; Bridle the Wind; The Teeth of the Gale).

Thank you for a lovely story.

Writing these stories always gives me a lift and, if your reading of them cheers you, it makes me happier than I can say! (I am very sorry to hear about your continuing coach problems, by the way. Hope the rest of your Saturday is much, much better!)

I'll have to check out Joan Aiken's work. The link to Amazon.com on my browser's Personal Toolbar is staring at me. They love me at Amazon. ;)

We don't often run into het smut around here, do we? LOL! I'm so happy you enjoyed rereading it--that's such a lovely compliment! *blushes* And once again, thank you so much for editing it for me--you have a wonderfully sharp eye, and it is most appreciated.

Oh, do hurry up with more Harry and Jack! I've missed anything new from this series in a while (and it gives me an excuse to be lazy not work on my own series, hehehehe).

After about two months of not posting to Harry IV, I've finally gotten started on it again. Now that I have this snippet of backstory done, I'll work on getting another chapter up next week. Still have to post the rest of Harry III: Norrington's Choice too, but I'm hoping tessabeth will find time to edit the final chapters one of these days--she always gives me such great suggestions and has a sharp eye for typos, too.

it gives me an excuse to be lazy not work on my own series, hehehehe

Yes, sometimes I feel that way, but I figure reading other people's fic gives me ideas I can use to better my own, whether it's vocabulary, or period detail, or plot elements. It's never a waste of time. ;)

You know, your writing is like watching a beautiful dance. The description is the music, the dialogue the light quick feet of the dancers moving across the floor, the pacing is the low lighting as they loose themselves in the moment that they will recall forever.

I simply love this story. Plain and simple; loved it. I got lost in the visuals and will go to bed with my minds eye treating me to lovely dreams of Don Juan..er... Juan Carrion and Juana dancing beneath a silver Spanish moon.
